Nicholas Bruckman

Nicholas Bruckman is an award-winning director and CEO of People's Television, a production studio that creates films and videos for brands, foundations, and social movements. His documentary Not Going Quietly won awards at SXSW Film Festival and was acquired by Hulu and VICE Media. He also produced the Sundance Audience Award winner Valley of Saints and the documentary La Americana, broadcast globally on networks like PBS, Nat Geo, and Al Jazeera.

Ryder Haske
Creative Director
Ryder has been a partner at People’s Television for over 10 years. During his tenure, he directed and produced commercials and ad campaigns for fortune 500 companies, federal agencies, and global foundations. He was a cinematographer and executive producer on the Tribeca Festival documentary Not Going Quietly and has won multiple AAF and Telly awards. Ryder’s work has brought him to nearly every state and over 25 countries. Based in Washington, where he oversees the DC office, Ryder’s work ranges from mental health awareness to environmental conservation and social justice.

Dru Richardson
Director of Finance and People Operations
Dru is a finance professional with over a decade of experience. Coming from broadcast television with VH1 and Bravo, she is excited to put her experience and number crunching skills to use on socially-driven content. When not perusing expense reports, she loves travelling the country in her RV and nerding it up with her friends at the DnD table.

Jenny Catherall
Executive Producer
Jenny Catherall is an Executive Creative Producer and Director at People’s Television, producing work for a range of clients including Meta, the Simons Foundation, and TED. She also supports the company’s independent film development work, most recently producing ‘Between the Me and the Sea’, which had its world premiere at DOCNYC.

Kat Roman
Executive Producer
Kat is an award-winning writer, director, and producer with work recognized by the Telly Awards and National Board of Review, featured in NewFest, Montclair, Jackson Wild and Idyllwild Film Festivals along with Scriptapalooza, Shore Scripts and Screencraft writing competitions. With a decade of experience in the field, on sets and studios, and in production offices, Kat has made collaboration her art by prioritizing people and process with a belief in the power of kindness and consideration. Kat cut her teeth on independent films featured at Sundance Int. Film Festival, on a variety of network shows, documentaries and other media for groups from mom and pop shops and mission oriented foundations to Fortune 500 companies like Meta, GMC and Puma. Her body of work focuses on celebrating imperfections, effort and the importance of finding levity, camaraderie, joy and especially humor in life. She describes her cinematic style as a hybrid between Nancy Meyers and Kathryn Bigelow, evoking the feeling of enjoying a homemade croissant on the run.

Beth Laschever
Coordinating Producer
Beth Laschever is a production expert with over 12 years of experience mastering the logistics of film and television. Originally from Seattle, Beth moved to New York to attend Hofstra University, where she earned a BA in Video/Television Production. Her diverse career includes credits across HBO, Discovery+, MTV, and the History Channel, where she’s played a pivotal role in both scripted and unscripted productions, as well as commercial projects. She thrives behind the camera, with focus on storytelling and passion for championing important causes.

Nick oversees Post Production for People’s Television and, since joining the team in 2017, has edited a multitude of projects for our biggest clients including TED, Meta, and Greenpeace. He currently operates as Supervising Editor, where he’s responsible for ensuring that our talented team of editors continue raising the bar and delivering stories that exceed the expectations of our clients and collaborators.

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, she moved to NYC, adopted her cat, Panda, and graduated summa cum laude from Pace University with a degree in Arts and Entertainment Management and Marketing.
